My father has a boil/ pimple in his lower jaw which does not seem to go away since a month now. The pimple area doesn't hurt at all, but the jaw seems swollen. He visited the Dermatologist but she couldn't give him any solution and asked him to apply a bacterial cream. He visited an Orthodentist today and the doctor
burst the pimple with his thumb and it is bleeding and dry right now, the doctor asked him to get an OPG with 2 root canals done and Iam not sure if thats the correct solution. Please advice. Thank you

The word of expression pimple occurs only in the face and its not the correct term. Anyway you should consult an expert in Oral Medicine. As he is the specialist in diagnosis and management of Mouth diseases.
