Boil in leg with pus
A single painful boil appeared suddenly on my leg and getting bigger since last 2 days. I'm cleaning the area with dettol and applying soframycin cream. Will it work or do I need to take antibiotics?

Please don't apply dettol. It will cause irritation and burning. You need a complete course of appropriate antibiotics. Are you diabetic ? Do you have similar boils anywhere else on the body ?

Its a Furuncle. Its a painful, pus-filled bump under the skin caused by infected, inflamed hair follicles. Boils form under the skin when bacteria infect and inflame one or more hair follicles. Proper antibiotic course is required. Consult a Dermatologist fore the same. Stop Dettol application.
