My oral temp varies from 98 in the morning and 99.5 in the evening. Is variation of oral temp from 98 to 99.5 normal ?

If it is 99 then better to document temperature reading for 3 days (thrice a day) if it's going above 99 in same pattern then consult.

This is normal variartion of temperature. Definition of fever is more than 99.5. Typically till 100 u may not take any paracetamol or other antipyretic. So its alrite so long as its not associated with any other syptoms, like chills, weakness, fatigue, cough etc.
