Body itching
Hi, I have this problem where at times when at home or outside my body starts itching and my hair scalp also itches. It lasts only for few minutes but occurs once or twice in a day. I have also being diagnosed with alopecia and my hair is thinning and there are bald patches appearing. Is it caused due to body heat? Are there simple steps to counter this problem without use of medicines??

The condition you have is alopecia Areata. The bald patches sometimes recovers on their own in 2 or 3 months.  But in case if you observe coin sized patches are increasing in size or becoming multiple please consult a dermatologist.  Ayurvedic home remedies are using neem leaves and hibiscus along with onion juice on affected area.  It will subside in 2 weeks.  And body itching can be due to number of causes and in bangalore mostly people gets allergic toxin produced by to dust mites.  If u had previous dust allergy history then body itching is possible.

Try to maintain hygiene. According to Ayurveda it may be due to krumi (worms infestation), so get it diagnosed by ayurvedic physician. In home remedy you can try head bath with decoction of Awala, shikekai and jeshthamadh. Also whole body bath with water boiled adding Neem tree leaves.
Health Tips
Avoid exposure to extreme heat and air pollution
