I have diabetes Past one year I'm using metformin tablet to control my sugar levels.recently my doctor noticed that my bp is also high.she is monitoring from jan 155/104,Feb 141/99,April 142/102. now she suggested me Olmesaetan Medoxomil 20mg tablet once in a day.my concern is should I start  the table now or can I weight for another month with diet .if I start this tablet,i have to use life long or not?

get a kft done..check the legs,ankles for any swelling and prepare a bp chart for 5 consecutive days..will be a better indicator for further management
