Should i take Metformin
Hi i am currently living in pakistan and i am having trouble finding the right obstetrician for my pregnancy. I am 8 weeks right now and the last doctor i went to put me on pregnacare, duphaston and glucophage (metformin). After doing some research online on metformin i found out that it is given to people who have PCOS or diabetes. I have neither. I asked my doctor and she said its because you are overweight. My BMI is 26 i dont know if i need to take this medicine or not.
