Blood sugar level
Dear Sir/ ma'am
My mother is type 2 diabetic patient.
She is on metformin and gliclazide combination. And also on sitagliptin.
She is also taking chlorthalidone 12.5 mg.
Few hours ago she was feeling dry mouth and dizziness. So I measured her blood sugar on glucometer and it was 189 ( after approximately 3 hours after food ) .
Her BP was 113/65
Is it serious sugar legal ? Is it emergency ?
Now she is feeling fine and no symptoms
I just want to know which blood sugar level is emergency for already diabetic patients or at which level we should consult doctor.
What are symptoms we should watch ?
