Diabetes at a young like yours needs to be managed intensively so that we can prevent development of complications. Controlling blood sugars isn't enough, the choice of drug has to be made based on correct diagnosis. There are over 50 different types of diabetes and diabetes in young needs to be diagnosed after a thorough history. I would advise you to go for a full consultation either here on practo or at the clinic of diabetologist
