I have been seeing red streaks in my stool from 1.5 year. It's painless. I am afraid that it could be colorectal cancer. I am afraid to get the colonoscopy done. Is it painful? And if it is cancer can we expect a long time survival.

At this age group cancer is less likely
It may be due to piles or even chronic fissure
