Yes it could be anxiety related. Its called white coat hypertension. You get a well calibrated digital bp machine at home and take bp readings comfortably sitting in a chair with armrest on 3 different days. Take at least 3 readings at a time and take average of those for more reliable results. If your bp is consistently above 130/80 then you need intervention
