Blood Pressure Phobia
I have some fear of measuring blood pressure. When I measure at home it is somewhat okay but when I go to any medical practitioner it goes very high. Problem started few months ago, I have no history of high bp. I do not have bad habits like smoking, alcohol etc. Blood sugar normal. I need to get out of this problem because it is creating problem to me to get a job or build my career. Please guide what should I do. I am helpless.

It may be becoz of some anxiety disorder. It is very usual with phobias and obsessional thoughts. CBT, particularly systematic desensitization, will be helpful. It is completely treatable.
