My husband is healthy suddenly he feel sweating and dizziness now checked the bp its 166/121 after this dr give him amlovas 5mg and check in evening bp is 160/117 he is smoker also please suggest diet and define his situation have he take medicine regularly.?

As his evening bp reading is still high,continue with the medicine the doctor has usually it takes about a few days for the medicine to show therapeutic effect . monitor his blood pressure twice daily for a few days .
