as ur age is 54 I guess you would have attained menopause....its not coz of blood pressure you have joint pains its due to hormonal imbalance(reduced oestrogen and progesterone)leading to osteoporosis arthritis etc
kimdly cinsult orthopedician for joint pain.....
to reduce your blood pressure practice meditation go for walk....shud ve salt restricted diet to control bp kindly meet physician.
