Blood platelets clumping together
For my wife during CBC they found platelets is 25000 after a week the platelets level reduced to 20000 so we got panicked and went for lab to reconfirm the platelets count after test they said initial screening we found its 20000 but after testing under microscope we found the platelets are clumped together and it's around 140000. So now I want to know is it normal? Platelets clumping together is it normal? Or whether my wife has to undergo any further treatment?

Hello.....  You must tell  the reason for this test.. Signs and symptoms (complaints) are more important than mere investigation.. Variation in platelet count  is normal..  Count should  be correlated  with symtoms... Dengue  is viral  infection where  you should be worried about platelet count. Consult  general physician.
