Blood Loss
During the process of donating plasma the machine malfunctioned and as a result of this there was approximately 500 ml of blood still in the machine that they were unable to return to my body. I noticed the next day that next to being light-headed my head or hair had started producing a odor. Why would this be?

Hair producing odour seems to be unrelated. Don’t worry about the blood loss. Your body will replenish the lost blood in a few weeks.
