Blood clot under toe nail - there's pus.

Asked for Male, 28 Years

A while ago one of the toe nails got cut and there was bleeding. Couple of days later it seems like the blood under the toe nail has clotted and it hurts when running. We thought it would heal itself, but there was pus oozing out followed by little blood yesterday. Does this symptomize and infection? Should we consult a doctor soon? Thanks!
