I fail to understand what exactly you mean by blood blister... if it flat or raised? is it under the nail or around the nail? did he injure his toe accidentally? You can consult online by sending the pictures so we can examine & evaluate. Only then I will be more equipped to guide on further course of Management. Hope this is helpful.
