Bleeding with stool

Asked for Female, 2 Years

My baby who has not completed 2 year, having problem while passing stool. Previously she bleeds less, and crys more,Dr. Said it's due to hard stool. Then she been suggested to take laxatives, but she not get relief. The she been suggested MOUT. Only 2daus medicine sckiped and she bleeds about 10 ml with 1 clot. Digest where I get right diagnosis

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Most important cause of constipation in this age group is improper feeding with less water and fibre content. Constipation always requires lot of patience from both parents and physicians end. Gibe at least 7 glasses of fluid( water , fruit juice, milk curds butter milk) and also continue Muout for long duration may be even 2-3 months. Its important to change diet habit during this period, else moment u stop the medicine, child will have constipation. Do send across your daily food intake chart if baby, I can help you with rescheduling it.
