Bleeding tooth
I have observed blood patches on my 8 year old child in his cheeks, lips and even on his pillow from past 2 year when he gets up. He has a problem of bleeding while brushing tooth and many cavities in tooth also. Is this causing him bleed while sleep or how and what should be done next. No other symptoms apart from this.

Consult your nearby dentist and rule out bleeding gums, if that is ruled out go to a physician and get a evaluation done. Oral cavity is a mirror for general health.

I think if bleeding is after brushing then it is just ur son needs cleaning of teeth. Very difficult to say what it is without seeing him clinically
