Bleeding in gums because of powerchain
Hello Doctors! Just few days ago I got TADS and pair of power chains as a part of my braces treatment. My power chains are cutting my gum tissues and there's good amount of blood bleeding from that site. It's quite painful. Moreover, one of the power chain is now being covered by by gum. My orthodontist says that it's fine to get the power chain covered by your gum tissues. But, it's concerning me . Can this constant bleeding and covering of power chain cause some serious or mild infection?

Bleeding or gingiva growth around the TAD is considered quite normal. But see if more n more bleeding comes or the growth increases in size then we can go for precautionary treatments. Power chain can cause pain due to pressure but doesn't cause bleeding. If you have showed photos then I could guide you better.
