Bleeding after Hysterectomy
3 weeks ago I had TLH surgery. From Day 17 pink discharge started. From Day 20 light period like bleeding started for which pad was needed. Doctor advised Betadine pessaries and oral antibiotics. Is this bleeding normal and common. Why it is happening.

Some patient have mild spotting after hysterectomy since the vagina hasn’t healed completely, it will stop in 2-3 weeks

Yes there can be bleeding after hysterectomy due to raw tissue present If the bleeding is not excessive or associated with any foul smell nothing to worry
