Spotting after an emergency contraceptive pill is common. The high hormone dose in it often disrupts your cycle and triggers bleeding that isn't a true period. This usually settles within about a week. The fatigue and weakness you're feeling are more likely from the hormone shift than a sign of something serious.
Next Steps
Track whether the bleeding eases over the next few days or gets heavier. If it continues past a week, soaks pads quickly, or your weakness feels severe, please see your gynaecologist for a check. A blood test can confirm if you're anaemic.
Health Tips
Go in sooner if you get fever, strong lower belly pain, or feel faint. Those aren't expected with simple bleeding after the pill.
