These asymptomatic black spots are known as seborrheic keratosis. They are age related and sun exposure related changes commonly seen in elderly patients. Although it's physiological condition but still you can use some topical preparation.

This is Seborrheic keratosis..Lasers with topical ointments will help retard it..It usually happens with fitzpatrick (I,II,III) fair skin types and more sunlight exposure.
