Black spot on cheek...
I have a black spot of avg 1.5cm diameter irregular shape on my left cheek.. it was not by birth....but it is seen from last five years... I have consulted to a govt. city hospital,,, they were saying that it may be due to fungus... Can anyone tell me... is it curable? If yes...then what should be the diagnosis? with regards Mr. Patient

It can be Melasma, nevus of Ota/Ito, Hori Nevus, LPP, etc. Without examination of the skin condition and knowing the extent of involvement.. along with more information on ongoing medication or previous history of skin illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best. Please get the problem checked thoroughly by visiting a qualified dermatologist. Hope this is helpful.
