Black pigmentation on inner cheeks
Hi, my mother sometimes feels pain on left side of the throat at almost a singular point when she eats any spicy food ..pain goes away with few minutes and is not persistent. While I saw a small red spot on her left tonsil I also noticed some lesion like blackish pigmentation on both side of her inner cheeks. What could these be and is there anything to be worried about apart from appartment fungal infection? Attaching bith photos of inner cheek and left tonsil. She doesn't eat tobbaco nor smoke nor drink.

The pain could be due to enlarged tonsils which maybe inflamed. Blackish pigmentation cannot be made out in the pics, inner lining appears normal. However if you’re concerned please visit nearest ENT clinic for examination and ruling out anything abnormal
