Black fungus
I was in steriod 8mg two times a day for 4 days and 4 mg two times fir 10 days in covid. I have left steriods 7 days back and tiday is my 31st day. I didn't have diabetic chceked 5 month back. Hiw much  risk I have of black fungus

Don't worry,fungal infection occurs mostly in ventilated patients ,on using high doses of steroids

Mucormycosis is more common in immunocompromised n diabetic , as u r non diabetic and also u were on low dose of oral steroid ... So chances are very less .. did u  checked  Ur sugar levels  when u were on steroid?

Vulnerability to black fungus due to steroids is mainly in the critically ill covid cases who were in icu for many days and were on high doses of steroids. I think in your case since 8mg of steroids are considerably low dosage. And since  u don't have diabetes. Risk of black fungus is not there in your case
