Black fungus doubts
I was + 1 month back. Became fit in home isolation. So as per suggested guidelines, I took steam 2 times a day for 14 days(10 days) and since last 15 days taking 1 time a day, that too in evening(5-7 minutes). Steam is taken in clean vessel and contains RO water. Just I mix little bit Vicks in it. I a male, 28. Measured sugar twice in last month, 90 and 100 were the readings (in evening time). Now news says, steam can cause black fungus. Am I at risk of it? Shall I leave taking steam even once in a day? Please guide.

Don't worry. Your risk for mucormycosis is very minimal if you have not been on steroids and no diabetes. Unnecessary steaming should be avoided as it can cause damage to the tissues. You can stop taking steam as it has no benefit now.
