Black Fungs risk duration

Asked for Male, 29 Years

Hi doctors, I have 2 questions related to black fungus 1. For a non diabetic covid recovered patient, admitted for 10 days with steroids, how many days are these patients are at the risk of black fungus. Note : checked sugar levels on medication and post discharge (fasting :93, post meal :113) 2. Is complete blood count is normal range, is immunity fine ? How is immunity checked ? Thanks

1. Steroids are important at certain stages of covid infection. If properly given, it does not cause bad effects. Black fungus can come from damp/wet/moist/humid conditions mostly.. so better to avoid such places.. or from an already infected person (by sneezing/coughing). Better to wear mask and practice social distancing for this problem also.. 2. Complete blood count is a basic assessment of a person's immunity.
