Bitter mouth
Hello doctors Greetings of the day! As soon as I eat something, even it was tiny bite . My mouth becomes bitter instantly, consulted gastro doc  few days back he performed endoscopy and said that esophageal sphincter was loose... He prescribed some medicines but no relief..please suggest

It is due to acid reflux. It will take some time. Lot of lifestyle modification needed rather than medications 1) eat small meals 2) do not lie down immediately after taking food, atleast two hours gap between food and sleeping 3) if possible sleep in propped up position 4 ) avoid spicy foods 5) tea coffee beverages 6 ) carbonated drinks 7) add green leafy vegetables and fruits 8) avoid smoking and alcohol if you do
