Biovac A vaccination query
Hello everyone Hope everyone is doing well Today we have visited paediatrician for hepatitis A Vaccination Biovac A actually it was not available in this clinic he has arranged from another clinic that guy brought Biovac A vaccine with him without maintaining its temperature between 2- 8 degrees Celsius like fridge he brought it in his hand so I have not taken it just wanted Biovac vaccine ideally stored in room temperature for 30 minutes or not if it is maintain in room temperature it will effect it's efficacy please do the needful.

Yes. If vaccines have been subjected to more than 8 deg for more than 15 mts it's efficacy can be affected

Enquiry that carried with the ice pack or not if no, then don’t take the vaccine

He might have brought with icepack just shud hav confirmed.. if the baccine is in room temperature for morethan an hour it might affect the efficacy, Biovac A and Biovac are same..
