Not achieved neck holding is not a sign of vitamin D deficiency. Detailed check up is needed. Nano 60k is high dose used for proven vitamin D deficiency. Has the blood test been done? Please visit a pediatrician for a second opinion

Baby start holding neck by the age of 6 months. If not holding there are various reasons but not vit D3 deficiency.Giving Vit D3 in 60 k is absolutely wrong.Maintenance dose of it is only 400iu not 60 k.It is important to know the Antenatal/ Natal & post natal history. If other milestones too are delayed so developmental assessment is important.

Hi Yes it is safe to give it to your baby. But if your baby is six months and has not achieved neck holding yet, I will recommend you to visit a doctor for detailed evaluation. Would also like to know about his birth history and post natal history
