Bilirubin is not going down

Asked for Male, 21 Years

Hello Sir, I 6 months ago I was suffered from viral hepatitis and my bilirubin was 27 and it took 2-3 moths to become normal. But sir now it 1.42 after 6 months. It didn't come to less than one yet. So is it normal or After viral hepatitis it takes long time to become normal because my cousin(30yrs ,male) was also suffering from Jaundice 9 years ago and till his bilirubin is in 1.2 ,1.3 . And sorry for my English.
