Beta Thalessamia trait
I was diagnosed with beta Thalessamia trait few months ago. Doctor adviced me to take folic acid supplements for two months. I took for one month and left. I am not sure if I should continue taking folic acid all my life or was it just for one time? Also should I get spleen ultrasound done or not? Additionally, except for low haemoglobin 9-11 approx, I feel normal, no tiredness or dullness.
