Beta HCG value 41% more
Hi, my wife had little brown discharge for 2 times in 5th week of pregnancy. We had scan it is normal. But doc suggested beta HCG test with interval of 72hrs. First HCG value is 9097 after 72 hours it's 12860. Is it normal? Approximately 41% increase. Generally it should be doubled. Any thing is going wrong or its normal?

Hi, beta hcg is fine.you need some progesterone support. Now Ultrasound is fine and repeat it after 14days to know cardiac activity. Everything will be fine. Good luck.

If your scan is normal that means it rule out ectopic pregnancy  then don't worry about bhcg... Just have repeat scan at 6-8 wks which shows fetal cardiac activity... Register yourself with obstetrician...
