Best time to take sugar test
I am type 2 diabetic patient 70yrs old recent report shows 400 I have sugar kit I planned to do daily blood test to check sugar level What is the best time to check??? For past 2days i did it in different timings 1)5o clock evening one day it shows 370 2)In morning before breakfast it shows 138

early morning immediately upon waking and before they having any eat or drink. then After the meal, don't eat anything else before having the pp test. Plan to rest during the 2-hour waiting period

Hi., I can understand your concern. For FBS levels, fasting for 8 hours is needed. For PPBS, two hours gap is needed after the first meal of the day.

Before and 2 hrs after meals are ideal.Sugars are high..better go for personal consultation
