If the baby was breastfed till now there is no need to introduce formula at 5 months. Try introduction of solids gradually if the baby is willing and ready to eat.

Health Tips
Breast feeding is best and continued upto 1 year along with complementary foods after 5/6 months of age.

Hi, Mother’s milk is the best milk. All formula are the same. You can give 90-100 ml or extra if the baby is hungry 4-6 hrly.

Breast Feeding is the best till 6 months of age . Nan Pro , Lactogen , Similac are all equally good . Specifically ask for  stage 1 ( for babies from birth to 6 months ) ..after 6 months you  should switch over to stage 2 . Can give how much ever the baby demands - 5 month old babies drink around 100 to 150ml roughly every 3 hrs . Preferably do not use feeding bottles .
