Virus causing bells palsy is not related to covid. Recovery from bells palsy is slow. The nerve has been damaged and it takes around 6 months for recovery. In some patients only partial recovery occurs.
Next Steps
if you have symptoms of covid /travel guidelines, you can get rtpcr/rat done. having bells palsy does not interfere with covid tests.

No if you do Covid testing the result will not be positive because they test with RTPCR which is genetic material of the virus
