Bell's palsy is lower motor neuron disorder of facial nerve.precautions include use of eye patch to avoid irritation of eyes as blinking is reduced... covering of face on affected side to avoid sudden exposure to cold...teach patient home exercise program for all facial muscles involved using balloon,straw,whistle etc...apart from giving muscle stimulation,laser therapy on motor points,n facial massage

Bells palsy is a temporary issue and recovers within 1 to 2 months. One side of face muscles stop working or becomes noticably weak. Happens due to sudden exposure of cold environment, generally.. (like blow of air-conditionin or blow from window while travelling).
Next Steps
physician may give you anti cold drugs. and meet a physio therapist near by. take facial stimulation and learn facial excercises. you may find them on you tube,  as well. just search bells palsy excercises.

avoid cold environment. fo excercises several times a day. do some warm water application on face. get well soon

Hello! Bell's  Palsy is a condition in which facial nerve is involved. There is difficulty in mvts of face ms of one side of face. There could be loss of taste in the one side of tongue. We need to evaluate the cause first. What is the site of nerve impingement. We need to control the inflammation first.
Next Steps
Get your ENT check up. You might need steroids for few days. Start physiotherapy. The Physiotherapist might start you ms stimulations. This will help you to gain mvts till the till nerve takes her work again

Physiotherapy is must. Visit a good Physiotherapist who can understand the loss of mvts and give you recovery protocal.

I think u have bells palsy U need faradic electrical stimulation for facial muscles. Do facial exercises also... Like.... Closing n opening your eyes. Clenching your teeth Blowing your cheeks. Elevating your eyebrows
