If you drink alcohol daily then stop for 3 days in advance and 3 days after vaccination. No binge drinking upto 45 days. Stop smoking as it can cause adverse reaction. There should be no fever prior to vaccination or any acute illness. Go for vaccination after eating properly. Depending upon the type of vaccine you get ,you may or may not get fever. Hence taking paracetamol for fever would be helpful.
