Bedsore in backside lower abdomen stage4
There is bed sore on lower abdomen which last for 2 yrs although dressing it and now it has punctured a whole in that bed sore with release of pus and blood how to treat it , is plastic surgery is recommended for her.

Surgical intervention definitely required for grade 4 pressure sore . 1st debridement of devitalized soft tissue and bone followed by dressing or VAC , followed by Plastic Surgical intervention . Infection control and antibiotic coverage to be done along with postural care , air or water mattress and identification and targeting the cause and rehabilitation of the patient.
