Bed-wetting could be because of many reasons like not passing urine when bladder is full, drinking more water in the night, poor toilet training, urinary tract infection, neurological, emotional problems like child is scared or stressful home life, in winters frequency of bed-wetting and recurrence occurs due to cold temperatures. Treatment includes proper toilet training, reduce water intake of child after 6pm, make sure child passes urine before sleeping and once in midnight even.most important thing parents should do is to be supportive and reassuring the child rather than blaming and punishing. Treat the underlying medical causes if any present.
