Beard not growing in some spots
I have recently noticed patches of facial hairs missing from under my chin,I normally shave regularly, but over the last six to seven weeks there are patches on my face where the beard hairs are no longer growing at all. At first there was only one small patch (the size of a one pence coin) and now there are three on my face and neck.

You may be having alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches. Please call me or contact me with photos on online consult option or visit me at my clinic for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
