Good morning sir myself Dr sai saran I am having some patches on beard can I use minoxidil 5 percent for it ? I stared using it 0.5 ml twice daily since 5 days but my skin is getting dry like white scales can you please help me with this

Don't worry...you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis causing white beard scales... Specific medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription by sending photos.

It can be because of alcohol content in minoxidil. Try shifting to one without alcohol and see if it gets better. If it doesn’t then it can be seborrheic dermatitis.
