BCg vaccine
Hi,
My duaghter has just born on 7th September 2023. She got her BCG vaccine on that day..So i want to ask , is it necessary that vaccine should react and make a bump on that area.
As she doesn't got any such kind of reaction and someone told me that it is necessary to react otherwise it means BCG has not responded.
Pls suggest.

Swelling usually happens after BCG vaccine but it’s not always there . So, u need not worry and there is no need to repeat the vaccine also.
