BCG vaccination
I want to get my 11 year old vaccinated for BCG. Are there any side effects? I know the recommended age is less than 5 years. But since he is not vaccinated for BCG and we are living in India, he is at a risk of exposure to TB

It would have been ideal if baby received BCG vaccine immediately after delivery. However, I presume it wasn't given. Nevertheless, you may take baby to receive the vaccine once the lockdown is lifted. Until then, stay home and stay safe.

If he is already living in India and not vaccinated now worries he must have got natural infection and immunity by now.... And even then if you want to give it there is absolutely no harm in giving it
