Bartholin cysts
I've had a recurring , almost always there bartholin cyst on my left side for a couple of years now. Without any discomfort but it was big enough to be obvious. Two weeks back I got one on the right side and this time it is infected. A course of doxycycline didn't help. I tried sitz baths as well, which gave short term relief from pain, but nothing else. I went to two doctors, one of them suggested I&D and marsupialisation if it returns. The other one said I should get both the cysts removed. I am confused. What should I do? I am in a lot of pain right now. They are about 3*3 and 4*5 respectively as per the doctors

The best thing is to get the complete gland removed. In my opinion Marsupialisation is an inadequate treatment. It will lead to recurrence of infection again.
