Brush twice a day. Try to use floss once in a day preferably at night after brushing. You can use a mouthwash like Colgate plax. Always rinse your mouth after meals. Smoking may dry the mouth so sip water or other liquids like green tea to keep hydrated. You can chew sugar free gum like orbit to stimulate salivary production and keep the mouth fresh.
Next Steps
Please get regular scaling and polishing ( cleaning of teeth) done as smokers are more prone to gum problems.

The bad smell from the mouth is because of inflammation in the gums due to deposits on the teeth, and changes on the tongue due to smoking also aggravate this condition. First of all you need to go for a session of teeth cleaning by procedure called as scaling. Meticulous oral hygiene maintenance by property brushing will help you to maintain the results in the long run. Use your toothbrush only to clean your tongue every day after you brush your teeth. Maintain an adequate level of hydration because that can also aggravate the bad odour emanating because of other reasons. And it is my ethical responsibility to highlight that bad odour is one of the least worrisome results of smoking and you should quit this habit Before any Irreversible damages of this habit begin to take shape.
