Bad hyper pigmentation caused by wax

Asked for Female, 20 Years

Eeks ago i waxed my mouth area and ended up burning the skin around my mouth which is pitch black right now. Im using vitamin C right now but i dont know how to fix it i dont see any improvement just peeling of skin please help. How long will it take to fade the hyper pigmentation. My skin around my mouth is so dry and scaly and feels disgusting
