Hi,
My 6 month old daughter is suffering from bad cold.Her doc has suggested Nasivion S drops but its nt helping much.One nearby doc has given Sinarest for her bt m not sure if its safe fr the baby.Pls suggest what to do?

Hello there.... I can.understand your concern.... Viral common cold is self limiting with symptomatic management.... Do not use nasivion drops more than 5days.... There's no cure for the common cold. Antibiotics are of no use against cold viruses and shouldn't be used unless there's a bacterial infection. Treatment is directed at relieving signs and symptoms.... Consult Pediatrician....

How's the chest. If clear nothing much to worry about. Oral decongestants are prescribed only after six complete months. Sinarest syrup has paracetamol. Wouldn't recommend it if no fever. Would suggest nasivuon mini nasal drops &steam inhalation for your child. Regards
