I have bacterial prostatitis and My Doc prescribed cefoperazone 1.5g IV twice a day for 5 days and then Ciprofloxacin 1000mg once a day for 30 days , and after that trimethoprime 200mg for 30 days... I know ciprofloxacin is appropriate for prostatitis .. But I have doubt that can cefoperazone and trimethoprime penetrate prostate tissues very well ??? And are they good for prostatitis??
